The Clos Des Menuts Saint Emilion is a blend of 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon 5% Cabernet Franc. The grapes are carefully harvested by hand. The grapes are then gently crushed and fermented for a period of no less than 3 weeks in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine was then allowed to mature in French oak (50% new and 50% 2nd year) for 18 months. During this time, the wine is kept in the huge monolithic rock cellars below the village of Saint Emilion, all at the perfect temperature of 12 ° C.
